There are many courses available both for our own software and 3rd party products. We can also tailor courses to suit your own specific needs.
Below is a brief overview of the type of courses available. You can choose to take part in a course which is open to other users at Press Computer’s headquarters or you can request a course specifically for a group of your own users, hosted either at PCS or on your own premises. Advertising - ABS
ABS is an advertising, marketing, sales management and accounting system, the training courses are designed for those who will be using the ABS modules”.
The Systems Administrator courses are held for staff that will be responsible for the day to day administration of the system. A PCL2 course is aimed at anyone needing to set up advertising style macros.
Circulation and Distribution System (NCS)
The NCS Systems Administrator courses are for users who will be responsible for the day to day administration of the system. User courses are available for Retail Supply, Direct Delivery, Canvassing, Frees and Leaflets Distribution, Subscription and Canvassing modules.

Adapt Editorial Administration Course
The Systems Administration course is aimed at system managers who will be looking after the day to day running of the Adapt system. The course provides a working knowledge with detailed training on administration & file management.
Adapt Editorial User Course
The Adapt User course is designed for staff who will be inputting articles to the Adapt Web Client and/or will be using the system to design and layout editorial pages.
QuickWire
The QuickWire Systems Manager course is aimed at those who will look after the set up and day to day administration of the server system. A separate user course is run for QuickWire system users and can be integrated into an editorial course such as Adapt.

Adapt Production - User & System Manager
The Production System Manager course is for those users who look after the day to day administration of the Adapt server system. A separate course is run for Adapt System Users.
Adapt Planning
Designed for staff involved in the page planning of run-of-paper advertising and the electronic make-up of classified pages.
PropertyNet
The PropertyNet Systems Manager course is for staff who will set up and maintain the server system. PropertyNet User courses are provided for property entry and property pagination.

iViewer
The iViewer Systems Manager course is for staff who will set up and maintain the iViewer system and be responsible for authoring the PDF’s to produce the web publication.

Macintosh & QuarkXPress Introduction
Designed for those without any previous Macintosh experience who require an introduction to the creation of advertising & editorial material, page layout & design.
QuarkXPress for Advertising Production
A practical 'hands on' course to follow-on from the QuarkXPress Introduction course for those who will be responsible for the creation of display advertisements, page layout & page make-up.
QuarkXPress for Editorial Production
A practical 'hands on' course following on from the QuarkXPress Introduction course for staff specialising in the area of editorial production.
A range of other courses are run by or through Press Computers for relevant third party applications such as:
