Cumbrian Newspapers Choose PCS

Cumbrian Newspapers Limited (CNL) has placed an order for NCS, the Circulation and Distribution solution from PCS. The order for all NCS modules covering the disciplines for Paid For (Newstrade), Direct Delivery, Subscriptions, Canvassing, Free Distribution and Leaflet Sales.

NCS will unite the Group's newspaper publishing activities in Cumbria, Northumberland, northern Lancashire and Scotland and will manage CNL’s daily evening newspapers, paid-for weeklies, and a range of free newspapers, directories, magazines and niche publications. NCS will provide CNL with a single circulation and distribution solution which will bring the main publishing centres of Carlisle, Barrow-in-Furness and Hexham together, with other offices in the principal towns of the region. Installation is underway and will see all NCS modules operational by spring 2008.
